50k is an ethics based suspense/thriller. It follows Matt, a part time enforcer for the New York mob. One night on his way home from his legitimate job to his family, he gets a call from his contact in the mob. Someone stole some money from “the family”, and Matt is expected to find it.

 

As events unfold throughout the night, Matt’s worst fear becomes a reality as he realizes he may be interrogating an innocent man. Forced into a zero-sum game, Matt must somehow get answers from a man who doesn't know anything and push his morals and ethics beyond the brink of what he believes in, or risk losing everything he’s ever cared about.
