Michael Hiebert - Writer/Director

I'm a third-year film student in the Bachelor of Film and Television Production program at Sheridan College, majoring in cinematography and directing. Ever since I was little I've always had an affinity for the craft and art of filmmaking, drawing from inspirations like Spielberg, Tarantino and P.T. Anderson. As a writer, 50K is a story I've been developing for three years now, and as director I hope to bring the story to life in a way that captivates, enthralls and terrifies it's audience, leaving a lasting impression. Filmmaking and storytelling are a big passion of mine, and one that I'm very happy to share with my wonderful crew.
Richard Ferguson - Head Producer

My name is Richard Ferguson and I am an aspiring Producer and Director who loves to get his hands on fun and challenging productions that aim to provide a memorable viewing experience. I have an awesome time collaborating with the key creatives of this crew, and love to have a script come to life, with everyone and everything coming together in the end.
Kristina Stanarevic - Co-Producer, Sound Editor, Re-recording Mixer

My name is Kristina Stanarevic, but you can call me Kris. I'm a third year Producing, Sound, and Writing student at Sheridan College's Honours BFTV program. Though I am pursuing a career in Producing and Video Game Design, my passion for being a showrunner and sound designer for all likes of Media bleed through as I push forward. I’ve worked on various sound design projects such as Capstone Animation films from Sheridan’s own Animation program, documentaries and short dramas from BFTV, and multi-cam e-Sports productions! I’m thrilled to be on the team for 50K because this crew is filled with some of the most talented people I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I am so glad they want to make another stellar film together. I can’t wait to see this film through!
Dennis Rankin - Director of Photography

Dennis will always cheat on his lovers, because his first and only love is cinema. He has equally done some directing and cinematography in his still young career. He loves bold and dynamic storytelling and is very excited to work on this project. The atmosphere and texture of 50K is the perfect playground for layered photography that will be a blast to shoot!
Shaela McCracken - Location Sound Mixer, Sound Editor

Hello! My name is Shaela McCracken and I am a third year student in the Bachelor of Film and Television program at Sheridan College. My most notable roles have been sound roles on animations and films but I do also enjoy producing films! I really enjoy working on films but my passion lies with animations and video game sound because I feel I can be more creative in those mediums as a sound designer. I'm am so excited to work on 50K because the second I read the script I knew the sound was going to be fun and challenging as well as something I can really be creative with!
Kendra Davis - Picture Editor

My name is Kendra Davis and I’m the picture editor. As a third year student of BFTV, my most notable roles have been with editing or writing - they’re the things I’m most passionate about and have the most fun with. Writing has always been a fun hobby, while editing became my passion in high school when I was one of the only students in my class who liked the meticulousness of cutting scenes together. The one thing that drew me to film was the aspect of being able to visually create a story by putting shots together like a puzzle. I’m excited to work on 50K because I’ve never worked on anything with this dark of a tone before, so it’ll be a fun experience.

My name is Rose-Marie Daniels and I'm an aspiring producer and editor. I was immediately interested when Michael Hiebert approached me with the idea for 50K and I am excited to now combine my skills as post-production supervisor on the project!
Austin Macdonald - Assistant Director

Chris Shewchuck - Assistant Camera, VFX Artist

Christopher is a digital compositor and cinematographer who enjoys on-set life as much as being in a dimly lit room. He enjoys helping his friends achieve the film they envision. 50K has presented new exciting challenges as well as a great crew.

Declan Rolph - Gaffer​

Declan I’m an aspiring cinematographer who works to achieve emotion and storytelling through my visuals he shoots. On this project, I’ve brought my passion and love for lighting and collaboration to work as the gaffer on 50K.
Harris Bailey - Casting Director
​
Harris is a filmmaker with a background in theatre, and a passion for storytelling. His deep ties with organized crime syndicates made him an obvious choice to find the right people to bring 50K to life. He's known to fill out the odd continuity sheet now and then, and enjoys drinking hard bourbon while walking shirtless down the beach under a full moon at midnight.
